Friends, this is a poignant one. Our journey with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, has been so multi-leveled. We’ve had the good, the bad, and the heart-breaking pain cushioned by the relief of feeling caught and normalized via the experience and help of others.
We here at The Mom of the Year know full well what life on The Spectrum looks like, and are wholly honored to celebrate it (it is truly a thing of beauty) this April, this Autism Awareness Month.
We commit to continuing to publish not only Spectrum-friendly, but Spectrum-focused content. Moreover, we commit to doing this from a very genuine, real voice. I know the wrenching feeling in a mama’s heart hearing a child’s Autistic diagnosis confirmed. Nothing shared here will ever be anything less than a pure desire to encourage awareness, normalcy and comfort.
We are real. We are here. And we are in this with you.
To date, these are the posts we’ve published regarding ASD. We will do our best to update and continue to post relevant content here!
Our ASD World
Checking in with you and sharing our experience is never any less than an honor, and we so appreciate you walking this journey with us! Go love on the ASD folks in your world and thanks for being part of ours!
