As a silly new-to-school-age-kids mom, I believed navigating things like doctor’s appointments would get easier as my children aged. Not true! As the general hassle of navigating around school and activity schedules grows, there is far less freedom to run my kids to the doctor. Recently, when my husband was out of town and my son was already asleep for the night, my daughter’s illness took a turn for the worse. I desperately wanted to touch base with a doctor, but taking her to Urgent Care was so impractical–my son had school early the next morning and needed his rest.
Enter the genius of Doctor On Demand, the fastest, most convenient way to see a doctor from the comfort of home.
How does it work?
Doctor On Demand provides video visits with board-certified physicians and psychiatrists, and doctorate-level psychologists via smartphones, tablets, and computers through a free app. To “visit” with a doctor, you provide a list of your symptoms, and are instantly connected via video.
What do Doctor On Demand physicians treat?
They can diagnose and treat specific conditions like allergies & asthma, acne or other skin issues, and can provide prescription refills!
Even cooler? The average wait time to see a Doctor On Demand physician is just 3 minutes! Any mom can appreciate how fantastic this is!
Is it crazy expensive?
No! Medical visits are $40 or less, and Doctor On Demand is now covered by many health plans. Your visit may be fully or partially covered by your health plan or employer – find out your visit cost when you register! And make sure to use code MOMLUCK10 for $10 off your first visit!
With Doctor On Demand, getting the help you need quickly is no longer a headache, moms! Make an easy-peasy visit and get on with tackling the rest of your to-do list!

These are awesome services. My employer is registered with Teladoc. You can either go into a queue or schedule an appointment. I used it recently while at work with good success. I will definitely check into Doctor on Demand as well!
