I often walk into other people’s houses and think, “How did they do this?” as I’m awed by the magazine spread-like gorgeousness of my surroundings. When my children were babies, I made an ill-fated choice to embrace a farm animal theme. Potentially cute in theory, the poor quality products I purchased all fell apart quickly, so that now, years later we were left only with a shower curtain and a broken trashcan that refused to stand upright as the sole remnants of my temporary post-pregnancy fascination with agricultural life. Toothbrushes laid carelessly on the counter, towels that never matched, and a bathmat was threadbare from the endless washing young kids require...it was time for a change.

So I took my fancy white towel set and purchased a few basic items that would go a long way in giving our bathroom a brand-new look. With a new shower curtain, additional towels in a coordinating seafoam color, a fun flower print for the wall and stainless steel accessories with a bronze finish, we were all set. I enlisted the help of my kids and fifteen minutes later, our bathroom was transformed!
