Time to Trade In and Get Phone Fancy!

We had a very sorrowful day last week. My husband’s phone screen cracked. Together, we just sat and stared at it, as if we could some how will it back into wholeness. In any case, I found it! I found an incredibly boss solution that would allow him to score a new phone while banking some serious savings to boot.

What is the miracle fix that would make the cracked screen situation okay? 

For a limited time, customers who switch to AT&T and buy any smartphone on AT&T Next receive $300 in credits: a $100 bill credit + a $200 instant credit or AT&T promotion card (buyback credit). 

How you score this deal?

To make the whole process uber-user-friendly, AT&T has it all spelled out clearly:

• Purchase a qualifying device online on a Next Installment Plan.
  • There is a huge selection of devices that work for this deal! My husband could finally get the Samsung Galaxy S6 he’s been crushing on, replace the Galaxy S5 he has, make the crazy switch to iPhone, or get the Galaxy Note5 that’s been on my wish list. Lots of options from which to choose.
• You are then sent an order confirmation email with instructions and Promotion information, which includes a single-use promotion codes that can be used for online fulfillment
• To fulfill online, you go to the AT&T Buyback Program site and search and select the device you’re trading
• Device must have a ‘Yes’ response to each question to be eligible for the promotion
• You send Buyback device IMEI and your mobile phone number (BAU)
• You enter Promotion Code to receive enhanced values and complete transaction BAU
• You are sent packaging material and shipping label to send in device (no charge for material or shipping!)
• You send in device and are shipped promotion card in 2-3 weeks after receipt

If online transactions aren’t your scene, you can also go to a COR Store or Dealer Location, give the sales rep the promotion code (or IMEI and purchase confirmation) and conduct the Buyback transaction in person.

What can a customer use their Buyback value towards?

Customer can use the Buyback credit towards the purchase of new accessories, a new device or tablet, AT&T services (including bill payment), or a Next installment payment.

Does the customer’s Buyback device need to be an AT&T smartphone? 

No. However in order for the customer to qualify for the promotional values the customer must purchase a qualifying Samsung device on an AT&T Next Installment agreement.

Can a customer signing an AT&T Next Installment agreement use more than one Buyback device?

No. Only one promotion credit given per qualifying device purchased on an AT&T Next Installment agreement.

Does this promotion require customers to sign an AT&T Next Installment agreement?

Yes. This promotion is available to customers activating or upgrading on an AT&T Next Installment agreement purchasing a qualifying device.

What happens if the normal buyback value is greater than the promotional value?

The customer will always receive whichever value is greater.

In short, my husband and I aren’t totally screwed! Wa-hoo! We can get him a new phone without losing a boatload of money, and I can continue happily panic texting him throughout the day every time I’m sure my are going to make me lose my mind. It’s a win-win all around, thanks to AT&T.
