Eli of Coach Daddy asked me to write about how I’m a Superhero Mom. This is one of the times where it’s really great that our communication is online because right now he would be getting one of my special you-have-three-heads looks. I’m really good at those looks. At least I think I am. My kids and the dog never seem to have much reaction, but in my head, I ace that look, turn sand into stone with it and that kind of thing. You get it.
Anyway, I really like Eli. He is very nice and humored me a couple weeks ago by writing about why he was a Dad of the Year, so I figured I should at least take a stab at being a superhero. SPOILER ALERT: I have now aced turning on the TV and using all 5 of our remotes without any help from my husband OR my 5 yr. old. I know, I know, this is serious stuff people. Go read about all of my impressive tricks HERE and say hello to Eli while you’re there!

I am impressed with the remotes, my granddaughter has to help me when she visits if she wants to watch a movie. I have mastered watching a show that was recorded though.

See, it’s all just small steps. I figure by this time next year I may sort-of be able to understand my phone a little too!

Thanks for bringing your game to my place today, Meredith. Heroes pay half price and get free cheese fries.

Cheese fries?! Why didn’t you tell me? I would have elbowed my way in so much sooner!

Well, they’ve caused riots before. I try to keep them on the down-low.
