The items are truly beautiful and being the bargain-shopping aficionado I am, I can’t get over these Dot Dollars–basically if you spend $50 now, you get $25 to spend in January, so it’s like getting half of your money back. The real kicker? This is even good on gift card orders, so it’s like getting $75 to spend for only $50. Love it!
I have small ginormous attraction to Stella and Dot. It’s actually problematic because when I see the stuff, my heart starts to quicken and I may drool a bit. The gorgeousness is just that overwhelming.
In general I am not a fan of “parties”; any pressurized buying situation can be uneasy, but when the lovely and kind Valerie came to me and asked if there was a way we could team up together to help out a local charity for the holidays, this sounded cool. This may be one of the times having social media reach could be a nifty thing?
So we took the pressure out and set up an online trunk show (read: browse at your leisure and please honor the Mom of the Year classiness by staying in your pajamas while you shop) to benefit a cause that is near and dear to my heart.
Very dear friends of ours had their daughter in the NICU of a local hospital just two short years ago, and through their experience, we learned all too well what a difficult and taxing time this is for the whole family. Our friends are such neat people that they set up The Families of Chester County Hospital NICU fund. They wow me. You can read more of their story, see some pictures, and hear about the creative fundraising efforts they have already done HERE. While their daughter was in the NICU, they discovered how valuable help with practical things, like gas, babysitting for other children in the family, meals, and clothing for premies. This fund works to assist these families in a hands-on way by providing gas and grocery gift cards.

Or treat yourself to a sparkly accessory for that holiday party and feel like a princess! It’s all beautiful, and it all helps families in need, as Valerie is sending a portion of all sales from this show to the NICU fund.
