I’m not even going to pretend to be cool and act like I wasn’t more than a little floored when the lovely Keesha of Mom’s New Stage said she wanted to interview me for a post today. Her blog is one of the most refreshing places to land in this internet. Her tagline, “Bringing a little me back to mommy” is a pursuit to which so many of us can relate.
I love all that is implied by the name of her blog too. Stealing her words again (because they are gorgeous and there is no way I could say this half as eloquently), Keesha says in her bio:
“I once was a dancer. Now I’m a dance teacher with two beautiful kids who have rechoreographed my life, and made every day an improvisation”.
Even though I was never a dancer (I know you’re shocked right? I just have that air of elegance and grace about me…), I understand that being a mom is a new stage for all of us. And as our kids grow and chance, we are constantly launched on to new stages.
I so enjoy all the truths and reflections Keesha shares on her blog and I hope you stop over and visit for a while. And oh, pop in and check in on my interview there as well. As always, I’ve got loads of earth-shattering thoughts to share 😉
