Watching a child’s face light up over a really special gift has to be one of the coolest parts about this holiday season. What fun! I love giving a kids a neat present. It’s so fun to plot and plan what to get the little guys on my list, but once in a while I get stuck. I simply can’t figure out what to give. Enter BabbaBox, and this problem is now solved! What in the world is a BabbaBox? It’s a kit of supplies and projects that comes delivered straight to your door. Basically, it is everything you need to do some really cool stuff with your kids (or send to someone else who might appreciate the inspiration and ease). Creativity and convenience in box, if you will!
I’ll admit, I was somewhat skeptical. Would Babbabox really be that special? When ours arrived, I was excited to tear into it with my son and check it out. I was so pleased to see that yes, Babbabox was a really neat thing! We got the the Sun, Moon and Stars version, which included the supplies to make your own constellation frame and paper moon nightlight. It also came with a pair of binoculars, lunar calendar, a digital download, a fun children’s book and a little treat for Mommy (a pretty wine stopper is always welcome in my book, for the record).
I was thrilled that literally ALL of the needed supplies for the projects were included. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’m a veritable disaster when it comes to crafting with my kids (stay tuned for an upcoming fun post on how well a recent attempt at this went down). It was a relief to see that down to the glue, paper bowls and stirring stick, everything I needed was in the box (okay fine, I did have to go and pour some of my own water). The ease of this cannot be overstated.
I’m sharing some pics below of our moon light we made. This was a very cool project, something I would never have been inspired to do on my own with the kids. This is the primary reason I’m now a Babbabox fan. If you’re like me and not super-crafty, this company is mailing great ideas straight to your door. Moreover, they are sending you all the supplies you need to create them. Even if you are a crafty guy or gal, I think it’s really hard to regularly set aside dedicated time to do something different like this with our kids. If the project is literally sitting in front of you, it’s much easier to give it a go.
I love the company’s self-description, “BabbaBox is a theme-based box delivered to your door that allows you to enjoy a little convenience and inspiration! As any parent can attest, the most important thing you can give to your child is quality time. BabbaBox makes this possibly by helping you to save time, money, & mindspace”.
Babbabox isn’t just a gift of some crafting materials, it’s a gift of time enjoyed with kids. Grab one for yourself or if you are stuck in that place of “What in the world can I get for this child on my list?”, order a box for them today. Money well spent that will be well appreciated.
