I have a confession: I have ginormous celebrity crush on Jessica Alba. This is due in large part to the fact that I am in complete awe of her. Her daughter Haven was born a month after my daughter was born, and Jessica’s life is just so darn together. Granted, I cognitively understand that this is just the impression I get from the very balanced journalism of Star magazine and in real life, she may be a complete mess. I also get that she probably has a team of nannies and that may indeed not be that healthy to lose all the baby weight in a matter of minutes post-birth, but….she’s a rockstar.
Given my general adoration of Jessica Alba, I have been more than a little fascinated with The Honest Company ever since she founded it. This company is committed to creating sustainable, savvy everyday basics for families. I love their dedication to social goodness and maintaining integrity. This can be a scary world to raise our children in when you think about the tremendous footprint we are leaving on this earth. If there is a company who is producing ecofriendly products to lessen our tread and has solid ethics, count me in.
