She never fails to bring a smile to my face, whether with a cute story about one of her kids or one of those I-know-exactly-what-she-is-talking about chuckles. Thanks for letting me co-host, Cassie!
When working on today’s post, I kept coming back to the name of Cassie’s blog, Two in Diapers, and thinking “I have two kids in diapers. I should not have two kids in diapers.” My son is pushing 3 1/2, but still refuses to poop on the potty. I have heard and tried all potty-training advice under the sun, but then gave up and called it a day. I will need to send him off to Kindergarten with one of those wheelie suitcases filled with diapers and wipes. At least by that point he can hopefully change his own diaper, right?
Basically my life is consumed with diaper management. You know–buying diapers, filling up my multiple stashes of diapers throughout the house, changing dirty diapers, taking poopy diapers out to the garbage every 2 minutes and the like. (This is wonderful for the step count on my pedometer, BTW).
What do I do with all my free non diaper-changing minutes? I used to believe that the majority of my 30s would be spent washing dishes. I now realize that I was completely erroneous. The moments I’m not consumed with diapers will be split equally between washing dishes and doing laundry. I know, be jealous. I lead wickedly exciting life of diverse interests.

Anyone else with me? If so, pull up your laundry basket and we’ll chat away as we try to match up those miniscule little socks and attempt to fold sheets in in a manner that semi-resembles flat. Okay, let’s be honest. We’ll sort of mash up the sheets in a ball and throw them in the closet b/c no one else ever sees them anyway.
