| My dream…for the bar we don’t have. |
We’ve got them. Save them, religiously guard them, etc.–but for what?? Not yet sure, though I am envisioning some dramatic Martha Stewart-like project on the horizon. A lot of people have stashes of them in their home, but I’ve noticed that everyone is quick to defend how they procured all these corks: “A ‘friend’ gave them to me.”, “We went to a wine tasting”, “I found them at a yard sale”, etc. Screw that, almost 11 years of marriage and we have freakin’ drunk and savored each and every bottle of the liquid gold (though in truth, may or may not have tried to steal a pile from a winery we went to visit a few years back…). Regardless, we now have a boatload and possibilities for cork art are swarming in my head…
