Golden Globes Recap

Have to admit I’m somewhat shocked that the glitterazzi have not been plaguing me with requests for my take on the fashion hits and misses of the Golden Globes.  Obviously, the opinion of this SAHM rockin’ her sweats all hours of the day and night should carry significant weight.  Assuming a drastic oversight and that everyone desperately begs my thoughts, here goes:

(General disclaimer first: NEVER try to watch any award show with my husband.  ALWAYS call sister, lock self in bedroom and refuse to come out for 3 hrs.  After getting the 100th “you-have-three-heads” look from my husband whenever I gasped in shock or glee, I finally gave up, turned off the TV and figured I could just catch the action on the internet the next morning.  Ergo, most attire sightings via the web and no opinion on actual speeches, as I heard none…)

So, Natalie Portman gets a free pass b/c I generally adore her, but how does she buckle a seatbelt in that thing??
Angelina Jolie scares me
Love Reese, Tina, Zooey, Kristen Wiig (side note: Bridemaids hands-down funniest movie EVER)
Whaaaa?!  Madonna, I don’t get it?
Yes, obviously jealous of her and want to hate her, but let’s face it–Sophia Vergara is just hot and really, really great on Modern Family and weirdly likable…
Oh Michelle Williams, so cute and I still feel bad for you after Heath’s death, but is becoming a purple leopard really the best choice?
Yes, he proposed over the holidays and we get it, but the wedding is not yet, Jessica Biel, and horrendous attempt if it was…
The ladies from The Help are just too cute and too awesome and have earned every and all nominations and awards
