The Magical Downing Hills Christian Fellowship Hoodie

I have been loathe to address the weight-loss issue on this blog, as it is a delicate topic for many, esp. this Mom of the Year post-pregnancy.  Let’s just say it’s a work in progress and my soft black pants (read: stretchy “fat pants”) somedays get more of a workout than I do.  In any case, it is a major bummer when clothes don’t fit the way they should, but I do have this perfect brown hoodie sweatjacket from my church.  This thing is amazing.  I have no idea how, but for going on two years now, no matter how pregnant or not pregnant I am (you do realize it’s a continuum, right??), this thing always fits.  So much so, that when I am having an especially “huge” day, I sometimes take it off and check the tag to just make sure that I actually have mine on, and not my husband’s size XL on.  What is the deal?!  Obviously, must be ordained by God to give me one article of “safe” clothing so I don’t totally feel horrible about myself.  So consider this a Sunday shout-out to my church for hooking me up with this wardrobe staple…do you think it will work on the red carpet when I become famous??
