I’m a gal who likes my vitamins and supplements. And with an entire shelf of our refrigerator dedicated to their storage, I don’t play when it comes to pursuing the full benefit they can offer. When Nature Made offered me some of their products from Walmart for free to review and share my honest opinion with you, I was more than game. Trying out new vitamins and supplements? That’s my jam!
We all know how incredibly easy shopping at Walmart is. It’s your one-stop shop for everything. So when you have a bunch of whiny kids and an errand list a mile long, Walmart’s your go-to, allowing you to scoop up the groceries, the birthday gift for a friend’s party, and all the other things on you list in one fell swoop. Boss! Throw in their online shopping options for the times you can’t leave the house and their incredibly low prices (no need to wait for a sale!), and it’s an all-around win.
With this in mind, Walmart is the ideal place to stash up on my vitamins, minerals and supplements. Why are vitamins, minerals and supplements so appealing? I believe that wellness starts from the inside out. We are all too familiar with the toll stress and busy schedules take on our lives as moms, and anything we can do to boost our health despite this negative effective is a really good thing. Whether we rock it at the yoga studio, faithfully take our vitamins, or hole up with a book and shut the crazy kids out, we can all take steps to balance and center ourselves amidst the chaos.
New Year’s resolutions may seem like something long-ago foregone, but there is still over half of 2016 left! A major focus for me this year was to zero in on my holistic health. All that good stuff, like proper rest, quality nutrition, taking time for exercise and mental wellness were all top priority. For me, a huge part of this is keeping up with my vitamins, minerals and supplements.
I take many different vitamins and supplements (my pill box is GINORMOUS), all for different, well-researched reasons. If you’re new to vitamins and supplements, an easy way to familiarize yourself is to go to a store (like Walmart, since they have everything) and spend a few minutes reading the labels on the bottles. When I was selecting my Nature Made products, I was drawn to Magnesium as the label reports it “helps support nerve, muscle and heart function” and Vitamin D as the label states it “supports teeth, bone and immune health.” As I frequently struggle with muscle pain and am significantly invested in NOT repeating Sickpocalypse, these are both products that rank high on my list.
Nature Made is a fantastic brand to support my wellness goal. As the nation’s #1 best-selling brand for quality vitamins, minerals and supplements* to help support nutritional gaps and the #1 Pharmacist recommended supplement brand in 9 categories**, it is a superb choice.
